Saima's story

Ms. Saima is a 36-year-old married woman who does hand embroidery. She makes beautiful patterns for the people of her community. Her designs are much in demand, and she has managed to consolidate a clientele that allows her to contribute to the expenses of her home. To help her to continue her operations, she has requested a loan of Rs. 20,000 to buy spools of thread in different colors and packets of beads, sequins and stones to embellish her products. In this way, she will be able to serve more customers in a consistent way. She is hoping to increase her income by targeting more customers.
