Ma. Grezil, a 39-year-old married mother of four children, lives in Militar, Tukuran. She has been operating a general store selling a variety of food and home-use products in the local community for seven years, earning 3,200 PHP a month.
Having joined GDMPC this year, Ma. Grezil is requesting a loan of 5,000 PHP to buy items such as eggs, noodles, shampoo, soap and toothpaste. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the loan to save as a reserve for future emergencies.

Today, it has over 15,000 members located in upland, lowland and coastal regions of the Philippines, and offers credit, savings, education, and various social services.
