A loan of $3,075 helped a member to buy clothing to sell.

Mujeres Unidas Group's story

This committee is a very active group. Despite a few challenges they have faced, they always are able to move forward. The group is in its fifth loan cycle and the members have built up savings and petty cash for all of the activities they pursue. Sra. Julia is a member of this group. She sells clothing of all types, styles, brands, and colors. She also accepts orders. Over time, she wants to grow her business and add other products. She will be able to accomplish this through her own efforts and with the assistance from Fundación Paraguaya. She always tries to get ahead, and wants to have her own business since she works in an ambulatory manner. She is asking for the credit to be able to invest in the purchase of clothes to be able to continue offering a wide variety to her clients. In the photo there are 16 women since the group has members who help out but who do not receive loans.

In this group: Marlene, Eduvigis, Luz, Olga, Maria, Rosana, Sara, Nancy, Zuni, Bernarda, Adela, Julia, Irma, Marcela, Maria
