A loan of $2,500 helped to pay for four calves and forage for feeding them.

Lusine's story

Lusine lives in Sariar village and is a mother of five children. Together with her husband, Lusine is involved in agriculture. They keep five cows, 35 chickens and cultivate potatoes. They do their best in order to gather a good harvest and cover family's basic costs. But it is very difficult for them to cover their family’s basic costs.

So Lusine has requested this loan to purchase four calves and forage for feeding them. She plans to raise and fatten them during the winter and sell them at a higher price. This will help Lusine and her husband increase their income and provide better living conditions for their children.
