Bermethan's story

Bermethan is 50 years old and a widow. She raised one son. After the collapse of the USSR, Bermethan received her own plot of land where, since 1992, she has been in the business of animal husbandry and farming. She began her business with 50,000 som (KGS), and today she has two milk cows and 20 sheep, with a monthly income of about 11,000 som (KGS). This income has allowed Bermethan to lay the necessary foundation for her son to have his own family.

With an aim to further developing her business, Bermethan applied to Bai Tushum & Partners for a loan of 60,000 som (KGS) to enlarge her business and increase the income it brings in. Bermethan plans to invest the profits from the loan in further enlarging her business.
