Suyumkan's story

Suyumkan is 54 years old, married, has three children and an eight-year-old granddaughter. Suyumkan began working in animal husbandry as a source of income for her family. She began in 1976 with start-up money of 1,000 KGS, and now makes about 12,000 som (KGS) per month. Currently, there are three bulls on the farm. In order to further develop the business, Suyumkan approached Bai-Tushum and Partners for a loan of 50,000 som (KGS) to buy bulls and sheep. Suyumkan plans to invest the profit in increasing her livestock. In the future, she plans to buy a plot of land.
