A loan of $2,800 helped a member to buy dishes.

Flor Del Valle Group's story

The “Flor de Valle” communal bank is in its first cycle with Pro Mujer, as part of the Panamericana center. It’s made up of eight members and directed by a board of directors, where Pamela serves as the secretary. The members have various businesses, including fish sales, floral decorations, clothing sales, bread sales, butcher shop, and food sales.

The loan will benefit the small businesses, including Pamela’s. She is in her first cycle with Pro Mujer and joined on the invitation of a promoter who visited her in her home. She has a food business and started it after working as an employee for another business.

She is asking for this loan in order to buy dishes from stores who sell in quantity and then will set them up in her business space. This work allows her to generate income to earn a living.

When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, she says that she likes the training in health and financing.
