A loan of $3,525 helped a member to buy clothing.

Jesus Redentor Group's story

The “Jesus Redentor” begins its first cycle with Pro Mujer as part of the Panamericana center, and is made up of eight members, and directed by a board of directors. Jhuly is the president and the members have different businesses including: cosmetic sales, neighborhood stores, assorted products, plants, and flower pots, eiderdown, bookstores, and fried pork rinds. This loan will benefit small businesses including Jhuly’s. This will be her first time with Pro Mujer, having joined on the invitation of an adviser who visited her in her home. She currently has a business where she sells clothing and cosmetics. She learned this business on her own because it generated good returns. She will use the money from this loan to buy clothing and cosmetics in bulk in the Oruro department. She will resell them from her space. This type of work allows her to generate income to support her family; she’s in a common law marriage and has a son. When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, she says that she likes the training in health and credit.
