Pablo's story

Mr. Pablo, 44, is married and has one dependent child. He lives in the community of San Lorenzo in the southern part of Honduras. He has his own home and devotes himself to selling sporting goods which he has done for 16 years. He also sells men's clothing, work shoes and children's shoes. His customers prefer him on account of the variety of footwear and other items he offers. Don Pablo is a hardworking man with a strong desire to get ahead. He is seeking the loan to purchase sports shoes, tennis shoes, T-shirts and shorts. He has a number of orders from customers who belong to a soccer club in the community. He is seeking the loan in the amount of 10,000 lempiras as working capital since the Christmas season is approaching and he wishes to stock up his business and so make good earnings.
