Josephine's story

Josephine, age 44 and widowed, sells new clothes and shoes to earn her living. She has been engaged in this business for the past 11 years and earns a monthly income of KES 25,000. She lives in Kisumu city and has two children, ages 12 and 24.

She has applied for a loan from KADET Ltd which she will use to purchase more stocks of clothes and shoes to offer for sale, as well as to establish a new premise for her business. She plans to use the profit expected from this loan to pay school fees for her children and to buy food for the family.
