A loan of $325 helped to buy sewing a machine.

Munira's story

Munira is 40 years old. She is married and has three children. Her husband moved to the Russian Federation because he didn't have steady employment in his motherland. Since her husband left, Munira has been the primary breadwinner for the family. Several years ago, she studied in a dressmaking course and she has experience in sewing women's clothing. Her work habits and experience gave her an opportunity to earn money by teaching a dressmaking course. She has been doing this for three months already and she wants to open her own sewing shop where she will both serve customers and teach several students.

Munira needs a sewing machine in order to open her shop, but she doesn't have the financial resources to buy one. Her husband refused to send her the money, so she is requesting a loan of 1,500 somoni (TJS) to buy a sewing machine. She anticipates your kindness and she is relying only on you. This loan will help her to open her own business, giving her a source of income that will bring stability into her home.
