A loan of $1,175 helped to buy merchandise for her business.

Pascuala's story

Pascuala is a 59-year-old woman with 7 children. Her youngest child is 19, and she helps him a lot because he is in college. She and her husband work very hard to pay for their home expenses.

Each day, Pascuala works in her small business selling clothes. She offers her products daily in the city market and on occasion goes door-to-door, selling to her neighbors. She believes that her business does well because she is friendly with her clients and, above all, she is responsible and hardworking.

Pascuala is very grateful for the Kiva loans, since thanks to their help she has been able to buy merchandise for her clients. In this way, she has been able to continue fighting to achieve her greatest dream: that her children will have a profession and improve their quality of life.
