A loan of $5,325 helped a member to buy purses and shoes.

Prosperidad Y Exito Group's story

Greetings from Peru! This is the “Prosperidad y Éxito” (Prosperity and Success) group. It has 9 members. One of them is Rita, 47, who is married and has two daughters, a 23-year-old and an 18-year-old; both attend university. Rita works selling clothes, footwear and various items of clothing. Thanks to her work she’s able to continue to support her daughters with their schooling costs. Rita has many regular customers who faithfully buy from her. She visits them at home to offer her wares and take their orders. Her best customers are for the most part women who request purses and shoes. Because of the demand her products have she will use the loan to buy them because the Christmas season is a good time for sales and she wants to stock up with various items. Her greatest wish is to have a store of her own to sell her products directly to the public. Rita would like to say: Many Thanks to all the lenders world-wide for her loan and for supporting her group. In the photo, she’s second from the left, wearing jeans and a black shirt.

In this group: Madeleine, Candelaria Fidelina, Nancy Amparo, Elsa Aurora, Rita Haydee, Maria Isabel, Martha Ebely, Jhuliana, Jennifer Esther
