A loan of $1,225 helped to buy a dairy cow.

Wilson's story

Wilson lives in a part of the country whose main activity is raising cattle; most of the local residents are dairy farmers. This is Wilson’s case; he’s in this occupation. He delivers a certain amount of milk to the local milk producers cooperative so he must constantly be renovating his cattle every time the reproductive cycle is complete. Wilson needs six-hundred thousand colones (¢600.000) to buy a cow and continue forward with this animal husbandry activity. His income depends on this occupation and it’s his family’s only source of income.
