A loan of $1,025 helped to buy meat, eggs, soft drinks, beans, etc. for her business.

Seydi Xiomara's story

Seydi is 26 years old. She lives in the San Lorenzo community in southern Honduras. She has been dedicated to the sale of foods for the last 15 years. She has a small dining room in her home where she sells fried chicken, fish, beef tortillas, seafood soups, and other foods. Her clients are neighbors and friends that visit daily.

Seydi is requesting a loan to buy meat, eggs, soft drinks, lard, beans, salsa, fish, chicken, meats, condiments, potatoes, cabbage, yucca, onions, chilies, rice, lettuce, etc. This will provide her with more products to offer her customers.

Seydi's dream is to set up a larger dining room and to be able to improve her quality of life a little bit.

San Lorenzo, Honduras - November, 2012.
