A loan of $2,550 helped to purchase cattle for fattening and later resale.

Sairabubu's story

Sairabubu is 61 years old. She raises livestock as a source of income for her family. The business she began in 1993 with 10,000 som (KGS) today brings in about 10,000 som (KGS) per month from the fattening and sale of livestock at the local market. As a result of Sairabubu's hard work, her herd numbers two bulls and 17 sheep. With an aim to further develop her business, Sairabubu applied to Bai Tushum & Parnters for a loan of 120,000 som (KGS) for buying livestock for reselling. By increasing the size of her herd, she will increase her family's income. Sairabubu plans to invest the profits in expanding her business by increasing the size of her herd. Right now, they have an acute need to install steam heating.
