Bubukarmat's story

Bubukaramat is 46 years old and raising three children.

As a main source of income for her family, Bubukaramat is involved in animal husbandry, agriculture, and raising livestock, starting this business 18 years ago with the purchase of one bull and two sheep. Through hard work, Bubukaramat today has in her household four cows, two young calves, and six goats. The monthly income from the farm is about 11,000 Som (KGS). Bubukaramat's husband and children help in managing the farm.

In order to furhter develop her business, Bubukaramat appealed to Bai-Tushum and Partners for a loan of 100,000 Som (KGS) to buy cows and sheep for fattening and resale. Bubukaramat plans to invest income from the loan in business development, and this year would like to carry out major repairs on her home.
