A loan of $475 helped to pay for additional supplies and merchandise, such as clothing, footwear, undergarments, and cosmetics, needed in her business.

Lucita's story

This is Lucita. She previously accessed a loan of 14,000 Philippine pesos (PHP) that she used to purchase merchandise items and products needed in her business. Her earnings were a big help in her personal, household, and business expenditures.

She would like to apply for another 19,000 PHP loan for her to buy more merchandise items and products to increase her product inventory. The more items displayed at the store, the better, because more items to sell will result in increased profits. The profits from her business will definitely help her to sustain her daily needs. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart.

Lucita wants to have a vacation in other countries and dreams of having a good life for her family. She faithfully meets with her co-fellowship members to share stories of her work every week and draws strength and inspiration from their study of the Word of God.

* All CCT community partners / clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and pay micro finance loans.
