Juzumkan's story

Juzumkan is 59 years old, a widow, and the mother of two children. Juzumkan's sons are both adults and one of them helps with running the business. Over the course of preparing her loan, Juzumkan showed herself to be a responsible, scrupulous, conscientious, and enterprising person, with a sense of duty and knowledgable in managing her financial resources and in investing them in the right things. Juzumkan has been in the animal husbandry business since 1982 and it has been the main source of income for the family. She began the business with 500 rubles. As a result of her hard work, her business brings in about 10,000 KGS per month, which serves as the basis for covering food expenses and the family's other household needs.

Juzumkan's business is very highly developed and she has three cows, two heifers, 25 goats, and two sheep. With an aim to further developing her business, Juzumkan applied to Bai Tushum & Partners for a loan of 100,000 som (KGS) to buy bulls and sheep. Juzumkan plans to invest the profit from the loan in further growing her business and she is planning to marry off her youngest son in the spring.
