A loan of $775 helped to buy merchandise to stock her store.

Nolvia Ivonne's story

Nolvia, 35, is married and has two children; she lives in a village in the municipality of San Francisco de Yojoa. She bought a grocery store business ten months ago from another person and thanks to her management she’s seen it grow. She sells basic staples like rice, flour, sugar, lard, soap, packaged snacks, condiments, coffee, canned goods, meats, sausages, soft-drinks and other grocery items. She wants to increase inventory with a variety of products to continue retaining her customers. She’s asking for her second ODEF loan for 15,000 Lempiras to buy stock merchandise for her store so it will stay in business since it’s her source of income. Her goal is to expand the space more because it’s very small and business is growing.
