A loan of $400 helped to buy more clothes like dresses, skirts, blouses, etc.

Scarlett Del Carmen's story

Scarlett, 28, is from Granada. She’s married and is the mother of a 9-year-old son. She’s a merchant by profession. She started working for others at the age of 22 in a store and that’s where she learned how the business operated and in time she decided to quit her job and with her severance pay started her own business which she’s now owned for more than six years. Her mother and her husband help her with it. Her expectation is to expand the business to add more items to her inventory. She’s asking for the loan to buy more clothes like dresses, skirts, blouses, etc. because she believes that by buying these items that are in high demand she will be able to meet her customers’ needs. Her future plan is to diversify the business and open a new one like a snack bar. Her immediate goal is to invest in the business to fill customer orders.
