A loan of $775 helped to stock his store.

Juan's story

Juan is an honest, responsible, and hardworking young man who lives with his parents and siblings in southern Honduras. He has a grocery store and he will use the money from this loan to buy rice, lard, beans, bread, sugar, churros, soft drinks, eggs, cheese, butter, water, cookies, salsas, pasta, condiments, etc. He expects his sales to increase and to have more products on hand to offer the customers who visit him. In this way he can make a little more profit with which to improve his family’s quality of life. In a few years he expects his business to begin growing until it becomes a mini market with a large variety of products. In this way he will be able to support his parents and siblings, so that they will live under better conditions and so that his siblings will finish their schooling and can convert themselves into persons of means with better opportunities.
