A loan of $800 helped to buy products to better stock her store.

Rosa's story

Rosa is 44 years old and is a very friendly and hard working woman. She lives in her own house with her 41 year old husband Wilmer and their four lovely children of 25, 18, 15 and 7 years of age. Only the oldest is independent and the rest still depend on her for their future. She hopes to bring them a better quality of life.

Rosa's secret in improving her business each day is due to the fast that it is the first store to open in her neighborhood. At 5:00 am her doors are already ready to receive the morning shoppers. Knowing the variety of merchandise that she has in her store, they do not hesitate to buy from her. They already know that they are going to find the things they need. When she began she had very few products and her sales were not so good but with the pass of time she has been able to better stock her store and now has a little bit of everything.

What she likes most about her job is selling to and chatting with her customers. She has had this business for 20 years and considers that the most difficult aspect is having to get up early to attend to her store, but she knows that this is her job and she must do it. She hopes that in the future her business will grow and provide her with improved earnings. This will be her 17th loan with MFP and she awaits the collaboration to continue with her objectives. On another hand she is committed once again to make her loan installments as she has done with previous loans. She is thankful to be part of the communal bank because all of the members are responsible and very supportive.

With the amount solicited of 2000 soles, she will buy more products to better stock her grocery store.
