Rayda's story

Rayda is 55 years old she is a very kind and easygoing woman, she lives in her own home with her two children and grandchildren since a few months ago she separated from her husband with whom she had many years of marriage. She is a very strong and hardworking woman and is determined to work hard to have a tranquil old age. Rayda’s job is to sell products in her small but very organized grocery store that she has in her home, she spends 16 hours a day in her store that she opens at 6 a.m. and is open all days until about 10 p.m. Her pantry is one of the most visited in the neighborhood since her neighbors know that they will always find what they need. At first Rayda had many problems and difficulties but as time went on she learned more about the business and now works very well and calmly.

What she enjoys most about her work is getting to talk with her neighbors and knowing things that happen in her neighborhood. She has worked for a year in this field and says that the most difficult aspect of her work is spending all day in the store and not being able to go outside. With time Rayda hopes that her business will grow and that she will have better income. This will be her sixth loan with MFP and hopes for your support to keep going after her goals, she is committed with the group that make up her communal bank that she belong to and is convinced that she will be a good customer, punctual and responsible in her payment quotas.

The amount needed is 2000 soles that will be used to buy merchandize for her small grocery store including refreshments and candy.
