A loan of $1,000 helped to buy merchandise, such as blankets, quilts, sheets, and tablecloths to distribute to communities that are far from the city of Tulcán.

Gloria's story

Gloria is a person with values well-defined by her parents. Honor, humility, respect, and hard work are qualities that define her well, being an example to all of her family. Her entrepreneurship and search for a new way to economically support for her family led her to buy merchandise to later go selling throughout her community, which gave good results.
The loan requested from Fodemi is to buy merchandise like sheets, quilts, blankets, etc., to distribute in small quantities to stores in remote communities. Being a work of sacrifice but one that she does with love, she knows that each day on the job is another day that she can bring a meal home.
Gloria’s dream is to buy herself a large truck where she can go to sell her products. She is sure that with work she will achieve her dream, and with this income she will be able to provide a university education to her daughter who is still dependent on her.
