A loan of $800 helped to buy walnut tree trunks, oak, avocado, and others.

Luz's story

Luz is 38 years old. She is married to Orlando and they have 2 children, 13 and 8 years old. They live in their own home in a district of the central forest.

Luz is a very responsible and reliable woman. For more than 10 years, she has devoted herself to making wooden crates to hold fruit. For this purpose, she uses different trees, such as cedar, walnut, avocado, and pine. In addition, over time she has expanded her workshop (located behind her home) and now also builds furniture such as tables, chairs, or simply sells pieces of wood.

The business is profitable, and with all the savings she managed to open another business in her home where she sells groceries.
She said "The business of crates is profitable, because orders that I do are in the thousands. This week I should sell 2 thousand crates to only one buyer."

She requires support since she needs to cover this order and needs capital to acquire more wood. This is her 6th loan with MFP. She gives her word to be on time with the payments. She belongs to the group "Luz del futuro" (Light of the future) and is happy to work with their partners.

She will invest the 2000 soles ($800) in the purchase of tree trunks walnut, oak, avocado, and others, to produce crates.
