Es una mujer esforzada y con grandes deseos de salir adelante para mejorar su calidad de vida y la de su familia, debido a que vive en una zona rural y no tiene competencia. En ocasiones ha sido integrante de algunos banco mujer. Su negocio es una pañalera en donde vende varios productos de uso doméstico y personal. También tiene tres hectáreas de plátano sembrada. El préstamo lo necesita para comprar más variedad de productos y materia prima para las hectáreas de tierra que tiene.

In Costa Rica, funding for microfinance institutions is hard to come by, and many institutions find themselves having difficulty growing and reaching all the demand for loans that exist.
