A loan of $300 helped to buy DVD films, disc cleaners, sodas, rice, sugar, oil, and paper towels.

Luis Javier's story

Luis Javier, 45, lives in the department of Masaya with his live-in partner. For six years, he has owned a small business selling DVDs and a grocery store. Facing financial troubles, he decided to open the businesses. His hard work has helped him get ahead, and the businesses are successful. In the afternoons, he sells DVD films and music. The grocery store is in his house, and when he is not home, his wife and daughter wait on customers.

His purpose is to help his daughter, who is a college student, succeed, and he hopes she receives the training necessary to have a bright future. He applied to Ceprodel for a loan to stock more inventory and buy DVD films, disc cleaners, sodas, rice, sugar, oil, and paper towels to offer his customers better service.
