Guliza is 51 years old and she is married. As a source of income for her family, Guliza started a business raising livestock 33 years ago. Starting with 6,000 KGS, today the farm brings in about 8,000 som (KGS) per month from the sale of milk and meat. There are now two dairy cows, two bulls and ten sheep on the farm. To help increase her head of livestock, Guliza turned to Bai Tushum and Partners for a loan of 80,000 som (KGS) to buy two dairy cows. This will allow her to increase her income as well as her head of livestock, and to build a big barn next year.
