Emmy is a 49-year-old, married man with four children, living in Masindi, Uganda. For 27 years, he has been teaching in a primary school. He was inspired into this profession by his love for community service.
Like most good fathers, he wishes to educate his children up to the University level and to set up sustainable income-generating activities for them. A low salary is Emmy's major challenge. His dreams are to upgrade in his studies and also to construct a permanent house for residence since the family is currently living in a mud-wattle house.
Emmy intends to use the loan to buy construction materials for resale, such as bricks and sand.
This loan provides farmers and low-income entrepreneurs from underserved rural areas with access to financial services. By supporting this loan, you allow more farmers and rural entrepreneurs to access capital.
