A loan of $700 helped to buy sugar, rice, beans, oil, and other staples and to buy food for his pigs.

Eleuterio's story

Eleuterio is 58 years old and has four children. Since his childhood, he has been dedicated to agriculture and has earned his income through the sale of his harvest. He preforms this activity with great ability and experience developed over the years. He also has a small shop in his home which provides income as well as a pig farm.

The products are bought in a nearby town 8 kilometer from his home. Access to the town quite difficult and to walk it takes between and hour and an hour and a half. Since he does not have his own transportation, the transfer of merchandise is quite complicated.

He is requesting this loan from Fundación Campo to buy sugar, rice, beans, oil, and other staples, and to buy food for his pigs. With the investment, he will be able to buy merchandise in large quantities and avoid having to travel so often. He will also save money by purchasing the pig feed at wholesale. He will be able to feed them well and sell them in a short time, when they are developed.

His desire is to improve his quality of life, to provide for his family and their health, education, clothing, and food. As his business improves, he will be able to achieve this. He aims to provide his children the chance to go further in school, as he was not given the opportunity.
