A loan of $775 helped to buy shoes, sandals, tennis shoes and boots for his business.

Adan's story

Adán lives in the city of Tegucigalpa. He is married and has two children. Three years ago, he and his brothers decided to begin a new business selling used shoes, sandals and tennis shoes. It is located in one of the city's markets.

Adán has a variety of shoes and prices. He buys their stock every two weeks from people that travel to the United States for their merchandise. Since they have a very strategic location, and the quality of their products is very good, their business is visited daily by many people.

Adán is requesting a loan of 15,000 Lempiras ($775) for a period of four months to invest in this Christmas season in a variety of styles of shoes, sandals, tennis shoes, and boots to offer their clients.

Adán's dream is to open another shoe store.
