Celeste - 26 Group's story

The communal bank CELESTE - 26 is made up of eleven members, ten women and one man. They make a living in different activities. The president of the bank is Maria. She is fifty-three years old and makes a living selling various products, like jewelry and clothing. She sells her items by going door to door, visiting homes and public and private offices in the city of La Paz where they offer her products.

This loan is her first within the institution. Maria is going to use this loan to buy jewelry and clothing wholesale, since at this time of year, there is a lot of demand. In this way, she will be able to offer a variety of products to her customers and increase her income. Her reason for requesting a loan is to continue improving her business. Maria is going to use the profits to continue buying a variety of products.

Maria is a hard-working individual and feels happy for the loan opportunity offered to her, since her work is the only activity that allows her to maintain her family.
