A loan of $725 helped to purchase beehives.

Akaki's story

Akaki, 28 years old, lives with his parents in Khoni district, West Georgia. His father receives a retirement pension, and the family runs an agricultural business comprised of three milk cows, two buffalo, five pigs and six bee colonies. His mother produces cheese which she sells at a good price in a local open market. As well, they have a 0.7 hectare plot of land upon which they grow maize and haricots, both also sold locally.

Akaki is a very hardworking man who does all the work connected with the honey business, selling the product locally at a good price. He has requested a loan to purchase beehives in order to expand the business. The resulting increased income will improve the family's living conditions. Akaki awaits your support.
