Ericka Rosa's story

Erika is 35 years old and from the Canoa, Teustepe settlement. She is the mother of one son who is in the fourth grade. [Erika] is a merchant who sells hats in quantity. She started out working in a hotel and then decided to quit her job and start her own business. Now she has two people working for her, selling hats on foot and she has been doing this for five years. She has her husband’s encouragement and he works as a taxi driver and helps her with her business. She wants to continue expanding so that she can increase her profits.

She is asking for this loan so that she can buy more hats and other merchandise she needs for her business. She believes that this loan will be of great help to her business because she will be able to increase her sales and buy even more hats. Her plans for the future are to set up a large clothing and shoe store in her home.
