Clelia Alba Luz's story

Clelia, 35, is married and has one child; she lives with her family in a community in the municipality of Santa Cruz de Yojoa, Cortés Department. Clelia has been selling basic staples in a grocery store for four years. Her husband works in agriculture and she tends to her customers in the store.

With the goal of stocking her store, she’s asking for a 25,000 Lempira loan to buy basic grains, cleaning supplies, cereals, common medicines, snacks, soft-drinks, condiments and bread. She hopes to increase her clientele and to offer a variety of goods and hopes to use her profits to make the business grow.
