A loan of $350 helped to buy inventory.

Norlan Antonio's story

Norlan is 30 years old and from the Asedades, Teustepe settlement. He’s married, has a one year old son, and is a merchant who sells hammocks. He began working as a laborer for his father when he was very young and gained lots of experience selling clothing on foot. He later married and decided to set up his own business with some money that he had saved up. He’s had his business for 12 years and says that things have gone well for him and he has been able to buy cattle with his profits.

He is asking for this loan in order to buy hammocks, curtains, sheets, etc. He estimates that this loan will be very helpful because he will be able to buy the merchandise that sells the best. His plans for the future include setting up a shop to sell products that he doesn’t have yet. In this way he will be able to earn more income and new customers. His next goal is to travel to other departments to sell his merchandise.
