A loan of $750 helped to buy general merchandise such as bags, shoes, clothes, sandals, heeled shoes etc.

Rigoberto's story

Rigoberto, is 57 yeras old and originally from Estelí, but has lived in Managua for 23 years. He is not married, and has 2 grown up children.

As a businessman, he works selling clothing, and has done so for 4 years. He started this work motivated by his mother, who has always been a seller. Since he did not like working for anybody, he decided to set up his own business - the clothing shop and also renting rooms, which he started with his own money. This allowed him to increase his sales, generating at the same time a larger income, but he wants to diversify his products, especially those which are in fashion in the winter season.

Rigoberto needs the loan to buy general merchandise such as bags, shoes, clothes, sandals, heels etc. with the objective of investing even more into his inventory. This will attract more clients. He receives support from his grandchildren who help with the business. He believes that this loan will be of great help because he will be able to maintain his active business with more products that customers are asking for. His future plan is to expand his shop and improve the condition of his children's rooms.
