Esteban's story

Esteban is 48 years old and single. He lives in San Luis, Comayagua. He has been making footwear since he was very young. He make children's shoes and school shoes, work shoes and dress shoes for men, and women's shoes. He is very well known in his community and has had his workshop for approximately 20 years. He does quality work and has good demand. He has applied for four loans with OGF to maintain his working capital and offer good customer service. The current loan is for 21,000 lempiras, and he will use it to buy materials such as leather, vinyl leather, shoe soles, glue, thread and other materials for making shoes, as in this Christmas season he has orders from his customers. His goal is to try to build up his business so that he can move forward in life, and always have his source of income.
