A loan of $525 helped to buy timber.

Masyurianto's story

Mansyurianto, 32, is a businessman who sells timber to build a house. He has a wife and a seven-year-old child. Mansyurianto sells timber to a building materials store. Daily, he buys the timber from many villages and then sells directly to the store. To support his business, he has a car to transport the timbers.

This month he has a large order from the store and he needs more capital to buy timber. He is borrowing a loan from MUK of 5,000,000 IDR. He will use the loan to purchase many kinds of timber, such as teak woods, and also tools to cut the timber.

Mansyurianto hopes he can sell all the timber and get money from the store soon. The profit will be set aside for saving, capital and car repair.
