A loan of $500 helped to buy a 24,000 litre water tank for his business.

Georgestan's story

A married father of five children, Georgestan, who lives in Kongowea, Kenya, is a water vendor who has been supplying his neighborhoods for 32 years; the idea for the business arose from the fact that there is a challenge of water delivery in the area. He also owns a retail shop and rental houses.

A loan of 41,850 Kenya shillings will help Georgestan buy a 24,000 litre water tank for the business, and he intends to purchase more tanks in the future and provide employment to other people. Georgestan believes the resulting additional income will improve the quality of life of his family.
