A loan of $3,225 helped a member to buy farm supplies to sell.

San Juan Group's story

This group from the city of Encarnación came about through one of the members contacting the Foundation. The group is in its sixth loan cycle, and thanks to the training the women have, they do their best and want to keep growing in the program.

One of the group members is Irma. She is married to Jorge and has two children. For several years she has raised chickens and sold agricultural supplies. Irma says that she wants to use the loan she is requesting to buy agricultural supplies. This will enable her to have a better variety for her customers.

Irma comments that like her, the other members of the group put all of themselves into their businesses, so that they can grow and learn. Thanks to this they are helping their families.
