A loan of $5,250 helped a member to stock her store.

Primero De Diciembre Group's story

This group was born out of the initiative of some of the members, who wanted to help their friends and neighbors, so they spoke to them about the “Fundación Paraguaya” program for women. 25 ladies got together and now have a hard working group that can meet any challenge. Gladys is one of the group’s members and has a well-stocked grocery store, where she works from early morning to late evening. Her business helps her to provide everything that her family needs and also covers the day to day expenses. Her goals are to expand her store and be able to serve more customers. Gladys is asking for this loan to buy the products that she sells most, such as vegetables, milk, bread, meat, and other things to be able to meet her customers’ demands.
