A loan of $3,575 helped a member to buy gauges for measuring water usage of the drinkable water from the community water tank.

Sub Comision Vecinal De Agua Sector 6 Group's story

The Comisión Vecinal was founded in the year 2006. It currently has 210 users. It began with a group of neighbors requesting help from the municipality for the construction of an artesian well and a tank for the community.

The Comisión has two caretakers. María is in charge of collecting payment and Juan handles the tank and pipelines.

The water tank facility, called Sub Comisión Vecinal de Agua Sector 6, is helping many people to be able to have something vital and important such as water. Juan and Maria are asking for this loan to buy gauges for measuring usage so that people can become aware of the use of water and thus be able to care for the environment and the use of our natural resources.

Thanks to this loan the Comisión could improve their drinkable water service for the community and thus be able reach more households with their services.
