Paula's story

Sra. Paula is 57 years old, married, and has five children. Only one child lives with her since the others are independent. Paula lives in Taulabe, Comayagua.

For the past 35 years, Paula has been preparing and selling a variety of dishes. She sells breakfast foods and snacks such as “baleadas” (Honduran stuffed tortillas), tacos, fried chicken with plantains, and other dishes. Her business is set up in a rented shop and is located in a strategic sales area. She already has a good clientele.

The loan she is requesting is in the amount of 15,000 HNL and will be invested in the purchase of supplies such as meat, rice, vegetables, beans, lard, condiments, and other ingredients needed to prepare her dishes. This will allow her to maintain an active business and to generate more sales. Her goal is to work hard so that she can succeed and secure her future.
