She has been a paid worker in her local community for twenty years. Her husband is a fisherman. Together they can earn about KHR 21,000 per day, and they manage to save about KHR 4,000 each day for their future needs. Soeut is the leader of a borrower group consisting of four members who live in the same village. She has been a member of VisionFund for three loan cycles while her group members have been with VisionFund from one to two cycles. Soeut will use her portion of the loan to buy a fishing net for her husband’s business and to repair her motorbike.
