Iris Suyapa's story

Iris is 32 years old and lives with her husband in a suburban neighborhood of San Pedro Sula. For 10 years, she has been established in her own business making piñatas for every occasion and in a variety of designs. She sells this product through orders at the stores, supermarkets and markets of the city.

Previously she worked in a factory. but she and her husband decided to devote themselves to making piñatas. She has applied for a loan of 10,000 lempiras to buy materials such as tissue paper, masking tape, glue and wire to fill the orders she has from her customers.

She is positive about her business, since the piñatas she makes are very beautiful and are in great demand. Her plan is to make improvements to her business and make it grow.
