A loan of $625 helped to buy corn, beans, sugar, oil, rice, etc.

Teresa De Jesús's story

In the small town of Sauce, there are all sorts of businesses. It is here in Sauce that 44-year-old Teresa de Jesús lives.

Teresa is married with two children and she runs a shop out of her own house.

She looks after her much loved children and makes sure that they attend school.

She counts on her good health, her ability to work and her little grocery store which has been progressing with the loans that have financed it. She is looking for a loan from Ceprodel for her business to grow and she will use it to buy corn, beans, sugar, oil and rice. She thinks it will be very important for her family to progress.

She says, "First I thank God for having found out about Ceprodel and Kiva, because they are offering a kind hand so that I can make progress."
