A loan of $2,500 helped a member to buy three piglets and pig feed.

Giri Puteri Group's story

Ni Made will use the loan of 2M IDR to purchase 3 piglets for fattening. Each will cost 450,000 and the rest of the loan will be used to buy pig feed. These piglets will be kept for 5 months and then sold to the buyer. Because it’s nearly holiday season, the price for pigs is increasing. But, she hopes the price for feed is not following the price of pigs.

Ni Made and the members of the Giri Puteri Group know the benefits of having this loan. They can purchase piglets, feed, and pay for training for the breeder. They hope they can have capital on their own and won't need to request another loan. Finally three of the members resigned and followed their husbands to work in the city.
