Khan, aged 49 years, is a citizen residing in Ek Phnom district located in the Battambang province of Cambodia. She is divorced with eight children, some of whom are currently in school and some have their own employment.

Khan makes her living through raising ducks and selling fish. With the requested loan portion, Khan will spend a portion of it buying poultry feeds and more ducklings to raise. The other portion of the loan will be spent buying more fish to sell. She believes that she will be able to generate more income for her family. Khan is also willing to use the anticipated income to keep her children in school and make the family’s living conditions better.
